What's So Special about Whole Life Soaps?

Our soap is simple.  It's made out of simple but high quality ingredients.  We use only 100% cold-pressed olive oil and castor oil, as well as GMO-Free coconut oil and Shea butter.  Our soaps use natural colorants like safflower powder, spirolina powder, french green clay, basil powder, olive leaf powder, activated charcoal, and Brazilian red clay powders. As for scents, we use essential oils in 85% of our soaps and a few select fragrance oil blends. In the end, when you read our ingredients list, we want you to know what you are buying.  As always, we are a sulfate-free, paraben-free, formaldehyde-free company.

Our Beginning

Whole Life Soaps' Owner, Bill McConnell selling soaps and lotions at a local farmer's market.

Whole Life Soaps began as a hobby.  My wife and I were looking for ways to cut out allergens and chemicals that interfered with our health.  At home, we started making unscented soaps and laundry powder.  Like a lot of craftspeople, we would give away our products at holidays as gifts because we wanted our friends to also have access to healthier products. What followed were many special requests for certain types of soaps, scents, and colors.  These requests became the basis for a very good product line of natural soaps and lotions, which we began selling at local farmer's markets and crafts fair.  Soon, we opened a physical store in our home of Wrightwood, Ca, which is nestled in the heart of the San Gabriel Mountain Range. Since 2013, we have been offering residents and vistors of our community the best in a natural beauty product. Simply put, our business began as a love of healthy lifestyle choices, and that philosophy still drives our business today. As we like to say, "What goes onto your body is just as important as what goes into it."
